With an eye on the environment

The main focus of our environmental effort is to reduce the impact that vans with our racking equipment make when they are driven. That’s because carbon dioxide emissions from vehicles impose a far higher eco-burden than our production system does.

Here we have a significant lead over the competition right from the outset, thanks to the use of materials that make our products lighter: high-tensile steel, aluminium and plastic. The less a vehicle weighs overall, the lower its emissions. We naturally regard it as an important part of our environmental undertaking to continuously develop new and better solutions.

We also aim to make our production system more efficient and to develop the production process with regard to environmental suitability. A few important aspects of this work:

- In production, scrap such as aluminium, steel, plastic, flammable and non-flammable refuse, corrugated cardboard, wood scrap and office paper are all sorted at source. We work together with a local refuse handling facility.

- We have a control programme approved by the county administration board. Every year, we submit environmental reports to the local environmental affairs office. These reports detail our consumption of raw materials, chemicals, electricity, propane gas and oil.

- The paintshop has been approved by the county administration board. Among other things, we carry out monthly checks of outgoing water from our painting processes. One very important factor is that the paintshop runs on propane gas.

- Our industrial premises are heated by the municipal district heating system.

- The product development system uses materials (packaging) that are recyclable.

ISO certification

Our entire quality-assurance system is based on international norms. We are certified according to ISO 9001 and GS-TÜV, which means that we have quality-assured our entire operation including product development and production.

We are also authorised by Renault according to the company’s Accord Produit.
